About this guide

A guide to directing unwell guests to an English-speaking outpatient clinic near the station.

Who we are

Same-day care for travelers,
in English, next to the station.

Dr.coming began as a house-call service and has grown into clinics in Itami and Naha, the international clinics at Kyoto Station and Osaka Namba, a hotel doctor service, and the Yorisoi sick-child care center.

Our principle is hospitality that stays close to the patient. To give families peace of mind even at night and on holidays, the whole team trains in how we welcome and care for people.

Chairman

After years in hospitals that took in large numbers of night-time emergencies, I saw patients waiting for hours and doctors working far too long, and founded Dr.coming to change that.

Under the theme "peace of mind for families, even at night and on holidays," our doctors are trained in hospitality as well as medicine.

How to guide a guest

  1. Ask about their symptoms

Ask the guest what is troubling them.

  2. In an emergency, call 119

For life-threatening symptoms, call 119 for an ambulance.

  3. Otherwise, contact our clinic

Give the guest a card and explain the directions. Call the clinic if they need help.
